WTF? looks like the long handles were just added to existing large tools. Not sure the leverage would even work or why you would do this.:eek:

:D John, either allergies, or they are for working on cactus with BIG needles.
I agree, putting that much leverage into the normal size blades may be a bit much, I can see chipped out blades after wrestling a big cut.

It may chip blades, but even so, working on harder wooded species like boxwood can require extra leverage. Boxwood branches that look "easy" to cut, can prove difficult if you expect them to act like maple...

Don't know if I'd go that far though:D
