On a cold and wet overcast afternoon i scoured the mixed woodland for the offspring of the Pines,i found only one.

It's in the bag.

Digging it up was less difficult than posting it's picture.

The weather was no less miserable when i snapped this picture.

I blame Al Gore for bestowing such a foul climate that day.

This is what i will be working with in the new year.

I may need some help with the complexities!

I see the magnificent trunk is about a score of years old and it's frond like lower limbs are about four.

The taproot almost did not exist and plenty of other roots were present, some looked suspect.

Can the spirit of Bonsai withstand such unpromising material,i wonder.

Of course it may not live, that may be a blessing in diguise.

The Bench probably assists with Vertigo as it's designed for a seated viewing but the chairs were all wet and it was too cold to crouch.

I will enjoy seeing what you do with it. I would have left it in the ground, but I want you to prove me wrong :) Do you have a design in mind? :)

It is shockingly bad,it would have been the decent thing to leave it in the ground.

Elegant simplicity does not easily spring to mind.

I toyed with the idea of elaborate bending and twisting.

Never,no one shall wield this Pine but me.

It was treacherous walking back with it and my bag full of sharp utensils,i felt sure that at any moment i would slip on some leaves or trip over a root and impale myself.

Stay tuned for more of the KKRTMMS! (Unless someone else notices something decidedly solipsistic about this inter PLAY)

Is that yours? Klytus's tree is a far cry from that one. Do you have it listed in a thread? I'd enjoy to read discussion on it. Thanks
