Could be mites, can't see them, but even on my own trees I can't see them. I usually guess they are present by the damage, and your photo is consistent with mite damage. I say mite, because there's several varieties, spider mites, flat mites, false spider mites, all do similar damage and all are cured the same ways.

The two insecticides you photographed will not be effective. Why? Because the active ingredients are listed for insects, not arachnids. Mites are related to spiders, and have a biochemistry that is quite different from insects. READ THE LABELS. You want a product that specifically lists spider mites. If the labels do not say effective against spider mites, it probably won't work.

All mite varieties are killed by the same miticides that kill spider mites.

You will need a 30-60x magnification lens to confirm the presence of mites. If you do in fact find them, a dedicated miticide will be your best option. I would recommend one like Avid or Forbid 4F. They are expensive but you can usually buy them online in 1oz containers at hydroponic shops or online for far less money. A repeated treatment is a must and full coverage of the plant is essential. The eggs only need 3 days to hatch and they can reproduce asexually. Spray everything repeatedly to break the life cycle. mites are bastards and they will give you hell if you do have them!

The labels both indicate "Spider Mites", ill try and see how they work. To date, I don't have an infestation on any of my trees.

Insects have driven me nearly insane so many times that I no longer try to figure out what is what. Now I keep these 3 products on hand and whenever my bonsai show signs of infection I just spray them with the one I think might work and then one of the other ones if the first doesn't work. My intelligence has been broken by those little varments (trying to sort out what they are and what is the best method) so I go at it with a vengeance with my whole arsenal. So far, so good.
