With spring coming many of us are excited, especially the ones up north who had such a hard winter. I know that some of you will be so excited you will wet your plants ! :p

Post some pics of what excites you about your plants this spring, new growth, flowers, projects started etc., heck even pics of plants that have been wetted in excitement.

All of my deciduous trees are already back out on the benches completely leafed out. :cool. I'm already cutting some of them back. The pines are pushing candles and the junipers are greening up nicely. Spring has sprung down here. I even have a azalea that I chopped back to branch nubs that has started to push new adventurous buds. That was one of those deals were I did not know if it would kill it or not. Very happy to see that it has a strong will to live.

I've been repotting since I got home from work yesterday. Going towards no Turface/more pumice (Dry Stall) and Akadama. Subscribing to Smoke's logic to see what happens. I can say that one azalea I repotted (purchased at auction in December) was struggling in very fine and water-retentive lava-pumice mix. I hope it likes the Kanuma and growstone I put it in. It cant hurt, that's for sure. Pics to follow when I clear the SD card from today.

Something tells me I am days from wetting my trees fully.Or just a couple weeks.Albeit tiny and in early stages,I absolutely love my zelkova trees. It is their first potting that is exciting me.And just the picture of the future containers is great to me.I also like how some turned out after a late winter trimming. Here's to your Spring!

I don't trust Northern Virginia, so my trops are all staying inside until snow is no longer brought up. We're expecting a mix on Tuesday :mad::mad:

I like the new leaves and their colours that make an appearance in spring

Yeah up here in Massachusetts were still getting very cold nights, so my trees are still in the garage, although i did notice buds starting to swell and some of my Maples just starting to leaf out:p

Start to create some pads and negative space on this. Enjoying it in a smaller pot.
