 PRETTY SWEET THERE SAM! I actually am drawn to the last one...though I find myself drawn to those styles. Thanks for sharing. Always a pleasure reading your posts.

Just curious...out of all your bougainvilleas...do you have a favorite at this time?

My question to Sam is....how much Akadama do you use in your soil mix?

Joke somewhat and seriously too.

Thanks Sam,

As I said it was a joke and true as well because I expected your answer (yes I had an ulterior motive). Because some say, you cannot grow nice trees w/o akadama. For me, your nice trees are proof they are mistaken. I know many in Asia with world class bonsai who haven't heard or know of akadama as well.

Sorry...didn't want to hi-jack your thread but just want to point that out.

My chopped bouggies have buds that are plumping up...I hope they push they shoots out soon. Thanks for the advise again. :)

That is really good news and congrats.

The roots on mine are so "unruly" I had to chop all of them to flatten the base. I was skeptical but reading your post and Stacey (Sawgrass) gave me some courage. They are budding now so I am hopeful. Thanks! :)
