Hey everyone,

Ive been having some drainage issues with a white spruce I have planted on a rock. Upon inspection i’ve found this white webby stuff in my soil. Looking online to determine exactly what it is hasnt really been helpful. Is it mycorrhizae, some white mold, is it root aphids? Ive taken the plant out of the growpot and I have yet to see any actual insects or eggs or anything like that. And the health of the plant itself is excellent, just suddenly im having drainage issues. This tree was also repotted this year so I dont suspect its full up with roots. I’ll attach a few images , hopefully someone can lead me in the right direction. Its fall here, temps from about 60 to 30 degrees, between the low temps and the cloudy days and rain I havent had to water very much in the past month. Any advice would be helpful, id rather get some info than just say fuck it and possibly lose my tree over the winter.
Thanks in advance! 97A9A295-FA54-4482-AC86-D1FD2C753EE8.jpeg
