My beautiful St Jose Juniper is turning yellow/brownish. Could it too much watering?

Hi! Thanks for the welcome!
I’m in Santiago, Chile, but the bonsai comes from a nursery in the south of the country where it’s rainy during most of the year.
I’m not sure if it needs more water or its lacking. When I dig a bit with my index, it feels humid but it comes out dry.
We just started summer here. It receives a couple of direct sun early in the morning.
Thanks for any advice!
