This started off as a very low branch that had some roots from a larger boxwood. I chopped it and let it get established and just wired it tonight. If I can keep it healthy I think it’ll be a nice Shohin Japanese Boxwood.

This one was starting to shoot off some nice buds so I went ahead and put it in a different pot. Seems to be doing well. Got a brand new back but looks like today.

I like the tree and your styling. The pot is nice also.
I'm curious why you chose that position in the pot? It seems too far to one side. Did the shape of the root ball drive your placement?

How much direct sunlight? Before and after repotting?

Here it is today. It recovered well. I kept it in a small portable greenhouse until a couple days ago. Now it’s back outside, only in partial sun.

Can this be grown indoors during the winter? How much light?
