Starting with bonsai

Hello,

I'm new to the forum, and need some help with starting up with bonsai's. I bought a starterset with the Ligustrum Delavayanum, but I need some information about potting and stuff, in the picture you can see the set I got, but I would like to know how to pot it, and when.. I'm a beginner in the bonsai as you see Maybe someone can give me a link to a website with information about potting a new plant?

Welcome to an addictive and rewarding hobby! Like others have suggested, youtube is a phenomenal resource for beginner information. You will likely find at least 50 or so videos about repotting. If you want to grow your tree larger, I would recommend going with an oversized pot, grow-box, or preferably the ground. Transition to a bonsai pot after you have somewhat of a finished idea ready to be refined.

Also, hit up your local library. You will be surprised at what great literature they will have for you to checkout and take home.
