I've been using safe t sorb for almost 4 years now. type in the name into the Google search shopping tab and see if any stores around you have any. I get 40 lb bags for $8 around me and just sift off any fines. Maybe amend the mix with Napa or pumice. I've been using perlite with it but I'm starting to not like the perlite so much. If your climate gets really hot and dry in summer maybe add a little sphagnum to the mix for water retention ESMOL7941EA_480x.jpg

Trying akadama, lava, and pumice for the first time this year and I'm thinking about mixing in some safe t sorb to increase volume cuz a 13 leiter bag for $50 is looking pretty small. Anxious to try ALP mix just so I can have an opinion 😂
