Ouch, cut those fat roots clean off.. those were the good ones. But that's why I had root problems, always wanting to save stuff like that.
Amazing how they liked that dry terra cotta so much. Will be watching, I also will be getting a seedling or seeds or both.

You have to cut them off or you will never be able to put them in a bonsai pot. Doing that at the optimal time (early Spring) in a must.

Alright alright, I just bought one single cmeg pine. Ideally I would've picked up another handful but , as advertised, I'm nearing a destitute level of poverty over here. That rounds me out to $440 spent on a species I didn't look at twice last month. I feel like I got a pretty good haul for that price but man... don't tell my wife right now. She's been paying for dinner

Well if you keep them alive they just go up in value, looks like some are selling 3 yr for 100 no styling whatsoever.
