Hi

I have two unshaped bonsais of Syzygium cumini approx. 2 years old please suggest bonsai style according to current shape which required less pruning. Unfortunately I don't have the digital camera so I post illustrations of my bonsai.

In drawing #1, I would keep the tree as a triple trunk. I would cut two of the trunks to differing heights to add visual interest to the arrangement.

Yeah, a triple trunk with more height difference would probably be good for the first.

The second, depending on the species, needs back budding lower on the trunk, and probably 2 of the three prominences on the top taken off. Then you could possibly go with a moyogi to get movement in the trunk and a little more interest than what you have now.

Thanks for reply.
The main problem of Syzygium cumini is observed from some people who have it that when we prune any branch its start dying from that branch. That's why I am little afraid.
