decent. These did well for me. I have 5, 3 together and 2 separate. I think I'm going to separate 1 in particular from group into a real pot. All others in these 6" trainers. Eventually sell. The trunks are over half an inch thick now.

These went from group planting 4" pot to these in 4ish mos

anyone recommend running these for a second summer in same pot? i guess im not
totally in sync with rootbound notions or if this qualifies

I'm patiently waiting to see the trunks, lol
well, here are a couple shots of them, unkept (they hang onto dead leafs on the bottoms)
there nothing refined about them in this picture, cleaned up some dead leafs maybe twice all summer
wasnt too worried about it with the state of my garden this summer - just wanted them
to beef up and take to pots. was happy with the root growth.

the one in the middle has my eye for personal collection in the future, with wavy trunk line

i will repot these ones and clean them up and hardcut the branches to an inch or two next spring
