Only stick that concerns me is a tall narrow juniper.
But I tied the pot with some heavy ROPE and even ran a big twist around the trunk at the base!
SF is said to be expecting 50-70 MPH !

I brought mine in (garaged) because I'm afraid of what can fall on top of them! lots of trees around us that have been dropping major branches all over the place.

Good luck with the storm!

only thing you can do is bring them into a garage, put them on the ground against a structure (house or fence) in the lee of the wind or tie them down

Stay safe sounds like a doozy of a storm. I know y'all don't see the wet stuff outside of it's fog form all that often.

They are ....sort of.... inside all the time. It's a covered alcove that faces south and is pretty wind resistant. Except for BIG wind.

The bonsai crap lives where those big pots were when I bought the house.
