Swallowtail Caterpillars

[Mellow Mullet]

Earlier, this September, I think, I found these guys munching on my orange bonsai. They look pretty cool and when disturbed they extend the red appendages and a foul odor, a pretty convincing imitation of a snake. I left them alone because I like butterflies, but the birds eventually carried them off. Just thought I'd share.
