Hi all I am going to use some Coco peat and perlite I have mixed and going to damp the cocopeat and perlite and I am going to use a pond pot with holes Al around it just so the condensation can get back in through the side as well as the top . I am using rooting gel and a polythene bag to cover the cuttings also so I'm going to put the whole pot in a plastic bag. I have also just put some cuttings in a pot with out covering with plastic using coco peat and perlite just to see if they root I will check every other day for dampness .they are on a window sil here are some photos

What are the overnight temps in your summer? If it stays over 10°C, that's fine. It sounds like you're in the far north of Scotland.
Growing seasons around the world vary widely and it is difficult to get a perspective on what someone says when we don't know where in the world they are.
