From the tree big taxus, the top was airlayered. I left it in the pot and since this spring it started to decline. I did an "emergency" repot. I was thinking it stayed to wet so was careful to water. It was still soaking wet after a week, i hope it might bounce back.
The start in 2015?

Pot full of decayed roots.

After removing most of them i removed the leftover stump from the layer.

Planted in a very open mix.

Now i can just wait and hope for a miracle. Don't have high hopes for this one. I might also spray for spider mites although i don't think that's the case.

I have never had a Taxus go yellow on me like that.
I spray frequently during spring and summer with a rotation of Neem oil, Daconil and Hydroden Peroxide.

I would recommend propping one side of the box to allow for better drainage, careful watering of course, and I'd keep it in mostly shade....maybe a little dappled sunlight.

Good luck!
I think this is the first air layered taxus I've seen!
