[Teacup bonsai]

Not much development yet on this, but I want to track over the years.

I was able to get the bottom flat and then screwed down through a hole in terracotta saucer.




I’ll check back in a few years…

The tree now planted in a 2in deep flat box with good drainage&substrate. The moss is mostly just for looks this spring because I love the contrast with the new leaves on this tree.

I’m not rushing to get this into a bonsai pot. Right now I’m just trying to be good about not overpotting my maples in development, and this one didn’t have much left after I prepped the base for the terracotta.
