Termites??

I’ve noticed these bugs on the deadwood of my crabapple. I mostly see them in the morning and am curious if they are termites. Can anyone verify? I first noticed just a few and killed them with some 99% rubbing alcohol and a q-tip and didn’t see any for a while, but they seem to have returned. I don’t see any sawdust or damage(that I can tell is caused by termites).

any suggestions for getting rid of them?

Hard to say for certain but they look like springtails to me.

You know what I think you’re right.They do look very similar to what I’m seeing, more so than the pictures of termites.
