Texas and Princess Persimmon

Just repotted this Texas Persimmon and Princess Persimmon. Kind of a wacky wiring job on the TX but for now just moving the branches laterally instead of straight up. I might chop the TX again at the second branch after its had some time to recover from the repotting. These are both female plants. The Princess is very small but figured it would be fun to play with and use the fruit to plant seedlings. I also took a handful of root cuttings from the princess to see if they would sprout up this spring.

Nice. Is your Texas persimmon collected or seed grown?

This was actually at a local nursery on clearance - I thought the trunk looked nice and the price was right.
