It’s looking sad. As mentioned some of the branches were less than healthy so I had to cut back until I found healthy tissue and the signature milky sap. I’d prefer not to have cut it back quite so far when it’s coming out of dormancy but needs must!
Get the feeling I may have to take off that last leaf as that stem is not looking too clever either. Brown powder is cinnamon which I applied after the sap had stopped running.
Bit of wire just to stop them pointing straight up.

edit: Just took off that last leaf. Fortunately just the top 5mm or so was enough to take it “back to sap” and not brown ooze.
