Never really tried planting a accent plant before, so I kinda gave it a shot this season. It was pretty spontaneous and I planted them in litter. I was landscaping at the time and just used the closest thing to a container I could find.
Don’t know about you all, but I really enjoyed this sedum in a broken pot (can it be considered a accent plant?

Danny, What species is this lovely flower?

@ABCarve - it looks like you've been watering that mullein with a little too much Viagra dissolved in.

Pecteilis radiata (often still sold as Habenaria radiata). This blooming is from 2018, didn't survive a slug attack in the well house over winter 2018-2019, but I need to post a photo to comment here, and I can not resist commenting. The pot is Bunzan

These pics were supposed to be included with my post

Okay, okay, third attempt. My apologies; these are the pics I was trying to post, not sure why they didn’t pop up last time, perhaps I was roaming.

on a side note, I had to laugh, ABCarve ‘s rose is older than any of my attempted Bonsais all together and his Trident Maple accent looks more like a bonsai than any of my trees do. Good stuff, they’ve got the looks I hope to obtain in the future, very inspirational, thanks for posting.

also if anyone has advice on winter storage of gold moss/stonecrop/sedum, like If I’m in New England does it need to go dormant? Has anyone tried growing it in doors all winter?

Wow nice pot or is it a stone? What is the small flower?View attachment 331732
It's a (very heavy) stone - an iron-rich sandstone that occurs in my area; you can sometimes find pieces with interesting shapes. Here's another bit.
The small flower is Cymbalia muralis, AKA Ivy-leaved toadflax or Kenilworth ivy.
