I am sure that is how boxwoods perceive me whenever I look at them in the nursery. I have spared them for several years but there always seems like there is one that calls to me. This is the latest, dare I say "victim", that has caught my eye. It has great corky bark and an interesting flair at the trunk. I just kind of trimmed him back a bit. The AZ sun chews these up and spits them out QUICKLY. So he sits behind my bench.

I like it. Lots better than the boxwoods I see for sale around here.
This one is pretty rare around here as well. Mostly pencils in a pot.
