So I just got back from watching The Hobbit. Great movie if anyone has not yet gone to go see it. I don't want to spoil anything, I was really digging the scenery, and the large amount of pine trees that were in the area. As this film was shot in New Zealand as was LotR, then I am really amazed at their beautiful countryside. :)

Yea I loved the movie too. I wonder if all that scenery was real or was it enhanced by CGI?

Probably enhanced with CGI, and btw I think was just a bit excessive in this film.

i reckon it is overrated, the beginning is too long winded + boring + the whole movie just felt too long. L.O.T.R. was however outstanding - all 3 - just a different point of view...

I guess that's what you get when you take a 300+ page book and make it into a three part movie. Did anyone see the 48 fps 3d version?

Have you seen the Hobbit inspired bonsai planting? It looks awesome, just like Bagend.
