The Pacific Ocean and a book.

We wished to get in on the wild flowers since last year we missed them. Of course this year we were too early and the poppies were not up yet. This hot week coming ought to do the trick.

We did see some beautiful landscape though and this is nothing to sneeze at...pun intended. Not the orange of poppies but yellow is good too.

Trip wouldn't be cool without some shopping and buying. Bought lots of stuff for the back yard. My wife said I needed this book. It's a cool book but not suitable for the bathroom or your lap. Weighs about 20 pounds and measures 16 x 12 x 2 inches. $150.00. By William Valavanis. Trees from the USA and Japan. Top notch photography and something I wasn't expecting, centerfolds. Poster size! About five of them I believe.
