I must admit...I could never be satisfied living where I couldn't wake up to this...and be able to bundle up and enjoy it. Something about walking in the woods...where there are no signs of man touching or disturbing the beautiful white coating of snow...is mesmerizing!

Thank you for sharing the beautiful pics. I wouldn't mind a little snow here in NW Ohio. All we have right now is the wind and the cold temps.

It sure looks like your dog is enjoying the snow!

How did you manage not getting any of this snow!?! I see a true Ohioan after my own heart...your wishing for snow as well. :o My motto if its going to be cold...I want snow! So enjoyed our walk today...yes she loves the snow!

I was out earlier...before we headed to the back of the lake to the woods. With all my dogs. Sadly...though the camera was charged upon leaving the house. By the time I got to our destination to take photos the cold had drained my camera battery. :( so no bulldogs in the snow...came back from our short trek...dropped the bulldogs off...changed batteries and headed out for the longer walk the aussie can handle.

In this part of Maryland, we dont get a lot of snow. I look forward to the way it makes everything look clean again.

The snow stayed to the south and east. I agree though. If it is going to be cold, we need to have some snow! Now my kids are old enough to shovel, too. Bring on the snow!!!

I knew we were going to get blasted...but I thought the last time I watched the news (which was before it actually hit) that all of Ohio was in the wake of the snow storm. I must admit...I didn't pay any mind to where it was going...as long as we got some of it. I just hadn't realized not all of Ohio was effected. Someone in Cleveland was shocked at the amount of snow we had in NE Ohio...they didn't get near the amount we had...it's still just as pretty outside...and still lingering on branches...an extra special treat!

I recently moved to Michigan from Washington, and you've pinpointed the only redeeming quality I've found in the midwest :) The snow *is* lovely...
