i put a cotoneaster in a tosui to play with mame. too far left in the pot, and i decided to wire the trunk after thinking i wouldn’t so the wiring, for as little material as there is, is kind of a mess.

Initial styling of a procumbens juniper. Picked this tree up 16 months ago from a local garden nursery for the equivalent of $17. Took an air layer off it earlier this year that will become a literati at some point.

The entire right side will be jinned, I’ve wired a big thick branch up into a spiral to thicken up before killing it off. I’d like slowly Jin the exposed roots connected to the section that will be jinned as well.

They started flowered in Feb- March when the outside temps was about 40-50s. On a sunny day the greenhouse gets to about 70-80s and night time about 50s heated. Now all my bougies are full of flowers thanks to the greenhouse.

Mine have bloomed on and off all winter, except for one. Beautiful little tree, don't love the pot though.........maybe just me.
