I really like that tree. Will make a comment on the virtual on your other thread.

Here's a work-in-progress Scots pine, part way through wiring.

Got to love the scots pine, that will make a great bonsai with some more development!

Speaking of scots pine, here’s my favourite out of many collected scots pine although unstyled and beautifully natural at the moment.

Pulled the apex down last night. Will hopefully complete the design over the next few days. Watching a sparse tree gain health and foliage over the last 1 1/2yrs and finally style something you know had great potential but had no idea how the final product was going to come out has been the highlight of my bonsai experience.

In case you were wondering those are a couple thousand maple ? grafts in the background.

Spent several hours cleaning and thinning a multi-trunk hinoki cypress in preparation for wiring. A beautiful with incredibly tight foliage bonsai that has a very slow growth rate. I believe this to be a chamaecyparis nana gracilis or some variant of it.

Nice love the bark on this species !
Heres my little honoki nana gracilis

Picture 1 is two years ago when i decided to grow out that little green shoot im pointing at with my finger as my new tree

Picture 2 is after growing season 2018

Time to clean it up this year i guess !
