A BRT growing inside, I guess!
Nice.

It’s a black monkey thorn, or acacia burkeii growing out on the balcony. It lost some foliage in transit and it had to change seasons and climates. I expected it to hate me for skipping a winter so I gave it some fertiliser and coffee grounds which it seems to like. It’s bouncing back hard

And 2 RMJs collected in SD in 2013. First one is being grafted with Itoigawa from the first tree, second one is about ready for its first styling.

First time posting in the “tree thread”.
You guys really do have some beautiful trees and I’m hoping one day I’ll be of similar stature with my collection.

Just stopped by the local nursery today. Figured I would share a cpl trees I purchased

First up, many may not consider bonsai but...
Cascading jade in jack B pot. Didn’t notice till I got home but it has a variegated species grown up against it and wraps around the cascading trunk (almost can’t even tell) B6E097F7-15F0-4BBD-B685-984695150AF5.jpeg3A1225CA-CC1F-44E1-B62F-B40502017417.jpegto provide two different hues. Kinda cool.

Cpl small ficus (little cactus was free) that I trimmed, added a little wire to one of them and I’m giving both away to family members

Before and after of that Shimpaku. Rough 5 min wire job to get a basic shape. At first I was thinking more bunjin with very small canopy. But for now I took the easy route. Bent that stiff trunk two different slight angles. And wired a cpl branches for now. If anybody has any advice for a bunjin style with this piece of material let me know!
