I like that second trunk! A bit unorthodox and does not follow the “rules”. But it works so well with the composition. Do you think it needs to be bent to the left a bit more to distinguish its profile a bit more? Great job either way.

Edit: I see the guy wire bringing the 2 closer together.

Took another pic of my little Bougie. It’s jam packed with blooms. 255030

@Hartinez nice blooms! My bougainvillea flowered one once in three years and only one little branch. Not flowered again! Gets full sun, deep pot (not really a bonsai pot). Used fertilizer with a higher P number. Nothing....

Crape myrtle found last summer, sawed to two plants and bare rooted. Flower buds appeared last week so cut foliage back hard. Did not expect such quick new growth -makes some sense, not intended. Wish leaves would stay this small.

final Thuja "degroots spire" styling of the year. Had a lot of fun with all of these and all for only about $75. They have all survived styling and have all had root reduction of at least 20%. 1 took more than 60%.

tree before, after and a crude virtual that looks a bit 2d to give a more or less direction for the future.

Not sure of the scientific name of this. It's been called "Bonsai Mint" by others. The guy who sold it to me said "Baobab"......😂 ...of coarse it is. It was 1/2" caliper four years ago when I got it. It's nearly 4" now. Never stops flowering except when it's cut back. Kind of an odd segmented growth habit but it keep on giving.
