Is this an earlier version of the one in your previous post?
No, it is another twin trunk hemlock, they tend to be a favourite style for me to collect and work on. Here is another example just for kicks.

Thank you for the kind positive words of encouragement. It's so great that you know the future of this tree! The fact that I could enjoy this tree, regardless of it's show quality never occurred to you. But I would expect you to say something like that. By the way genius you need to post a tree! Here's an azalea. Oh, I suppose this one's worthless and I should just throw it away too! I'll do that in the morning.
I think forsoothe! Was having some fun with you sweetheart.

I think it's a little bit more than that. Basically he's an ass! Here's an updated pic of my lowly ugly maple. It put out several new leaves that have greened up. Also, l'm not a sweetheart!

Obviously, a Dragonmaster is onebadassmotherfucker, not a sweetheart. Puff, magically, is the sweetheart.

First year acer pentaphyllum (aka 'the marijuana maple'). Very rare and, I think, very cool .
This will be a bonsai in a few years.

BTW, of some 132 distinct maple species, there are only 8 compound-leaf maple species. 🤓

Both trees are simply amazing! I'm astounded at their beauty. Here's a lowly ugly maple.
Actually, there's a lot of potential there. Keep the internodes short by pinching, denuding in early June, and it can develop into a tight & compact tree with a little flair.

Pinus contorta contorta, collected, adapted and moving along. Had a good season, will be time to work ahead with styling and fall maintenance to prepare for the next step in progression. Happy with the new planting angle and the firming up of the root ball in that positionIMG_1450.JPG! Moving slowly with this tree, want to make sure.
