Berberis thunbergii ‘Dart’s Red Lady’. Shohin size. This is a purple-leafed variety that develops nice autumn colour. The tree needs more development but I like the way it looks today.
Nice!

What is the potter? Reminds me a lot of the erin pots I have.

Berberis, in Erin pot.

Yes, it's an old Erin pot. I really like your tree, great bark. I'm running out of pictures to post in replies though!
This is my semi-cascade Japanese maple from about four weeks ago. I was hoping the foliage would be good enough for a show, but it didn't last well enough and I had to defoliate it instead. This picture was trying out display options.

Posted this one already, really enjoying working with Hinoki cypress. i think this could be nice in time, if i stick with at it

been trying to get more branching obscuring the main trunk, bit better than the first attempt

Needs a season of growth, i should leave it alone now. likely wont get any back budding on the brown bits, but there's enough green there to get a little back budding in areas i'd like it, as in to fill in the main trunk a little more
