@Hartinez What sort of desert species are those? Sage of some sort? They look really cool!

A humble young nana in training, but considering where I started with it a couple years ago (horizontal branch in a pot), I'm proud of it's progress.

Looking good! And thanks those sagebrush or artemisia tridentata. Total high desert species that have taken very well to pot culture.

here is my blue Pfitzer juniper that had its initial styling recently and is pushing lots of new growth already. And a shot of dirt pit “photo studio”. 😂

Pyracantha shohin in training. The shape is almost obscured by the sheer quantity of blossom even though it's the first time it's flowered since I separated it (it's an air layer) and I'm not sure if it's got red or yellow berries as I did several from both colours. All the while I was removing wire a bee was feeding on nectar just an inch or two away from my hands.

Golden Benjamin Fig (take my word for it) had so many leaves that I couldn't just trim the canopy, so back to square one...

Jaboticaba grows funny for me, probably because of my wintering-over is less than grand, so I greatly reduced it hopefully to regenerate tighter...

Did you do the design work on these two trees?
Yes, on the little nana and bigger nana, but the bigger one hasn't been worked on for months, the owner likes it on the wilder side. The littler one was last weekend and next for it is a pot.

Tskumo Cypress, pruned and pinched back to rough shape, next step to thin out pads and let the light in! Then refine the pad shape after thinning, perhaps wire for position adjustment if desired. This species requires two or three longish sessions per year to maintain. Quick pictures from front and back of the tree. This tree has been in training for ten years.IMG_1554.JPGIMG_1553.JPG
