My nephew stopped by yesterday and spent a day with us. He left with 5 bald cypress in Anderson flats, a Nippon daisy, and a bunch of garden plants.

It was nice to see him and his little ones. I hope to get his bonsai journey started.

Of course my lady sent him off with an igloo full of food.

Anybody that shows up here leaves with at least one tree. That's my rule. Four or five if I can talk you into it. Even still the herd is growing fifteen to twenty percent a year.
I will always remember the generosity that @Mellow Mullet showed me. He gave me a bunch of azalea, a dwarf crepe myrtle, and some cuttings. While the hurricanes unfortunately took most of them away, the generous act remains in my memory.
