This crazy unprecedented time we are living in...and appreciating just the simplicities of what I seen

It is a horrible situation that you are in, all you can do is the best you can do. Pray and hope, don't give up on hope. People do come thru this. I will add my prayers and thoughts for you and your family. Also belatedly for @Dav4 family, but I always pray for my Nut friends anyway... The front line in care must be ready to crack. My sis works as a respiratory therapist at OSU medical center, so its been hard for her, its like PTSD. I wish more people would be shown just what the situation is like, the few peeks you get from the news don't really imprint enough. It needs to be shown like the war that it is.
I can't imagine what she's had to face. My own pulmonary specialist retired over it. But these past few days...were hell-ish. What front line and others whose profession reaches these depths...may God bless them.

Rollercoaster thread.
Initially I saw the nice picture and though, great shot.
Then I read on.

Hang in there. Unfortunately, nothing but the passing of time will make this easier to bear.

Sorry to hear this.
It has been a trying year.
It is scary sometimes.
my Mom has been in and out of the hospital also. Luckily they did have a room at the time.
sending prayers your way.
Sorry to hear about your own mother's health...its such an emotional roller coaster for sure. I remember those back and fourth days when my dad was with us. Covering her in our prayers...that she is well and needs no more trips to the hospital.

Our prayers are with you and your family.

My most friendly thoughts are with you. Thousands of miles away, we have to face the same.

My mother is 90, I want to spend Xmas with hjer, and the only people that can be here are my eldest son and his dog and me. If I had any hint that "praying" would help, I would pray, on my knees.

I don't pray : I wear a mask when I leave home, wash my hands, avoid places where people burst out their viruses.

So far, I haven't heard of any of my close friends having the "Chinese disease". It's now the "British disease", because in the UK, they (I mean Bo-Jo, Trump's puppet) thought it wise to mock the virus.

I don't want to say we're better than oteers, but at least it's one example of how, the rest of the world, we are less stupid.

And yes, we can pray. Or make a statue of the golden calf. Or believe in the horseshit that is on facebook and religious websites.

But taking care, according to what science can teach us is a million times more efficient to keep your loved ones alive. But you can pray : it won't change anything at all, but make you feel better.

I remember my father, my sister, many of my friends now that I'm on the other side of the hill. But "Praying" 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄 😄

Live !

But I don't pray. It's useless. Ask (if you can) all the nice people I loved who died an untimely death. A sister, a brother, an uncle, a friend...

It's now the "British disease", because in the UK, they (I mean Bo-Jo, Trump's puppet) thought it wise to mock the virus. It must be because like, unlike Trumpists (see : scums of the early 21st century, a history of lies and fakenews bambo), I take care of my relatives and friends.

I don't want to say we're better than others, but at least it's one example of how, the rest of the world, we are less stupid I hope.

I understand how people can believe, when I was 15, I used to belive in (a) god. when some in my family lost their husband, or gaughter, or anyone, I really wished I was so blind to believe in that hocus-pocus.

I still love the ones I loved, I remember them, but I don't have to make "ceremonies", they're in my mind. Some can call it my soul if they like, but if there's a "God", I think that if she/he is intelligent enough, he doesn't mind about "praying" : ACTING ! for we are in the real world.

Such a long post : how to say that you feel deeply the same and yet have a totally different interpretation of what's going on ?

Darlene, believe it or not, we must carry on
