Thread grafting new nebari on Bald Cypress?

They grow like weeds and are very common (easy to come by), I haven't ever heard of anyone grafting roots on a BC, not saying it cant be done, but why? They thicken up very fast, especially if you put them in water in the summer. The roots on all of those from the same seller are very bad, I think that you would be better off spending your money elsewhere.

I doubt those roots could be overcome. They would never amount to anything nice and cutting them off would probably kill the tree. You may get away with grafting new roots on and then removing the messed up ones, but that much tricky and time consuming work on a tree so expensive makes we wonder if it would be worth the effort?

Bald cypress are like weeds. Damage the Cambrian at the end of the roots and the will shoot out new ones. You can grow and correct anything on theses guys given time.
