Forgive the unstyled trees. They'll get a styling next month. These stands needed to be strong and heavy enough to withstand winds up to 50 MPH (larger pieces are 6"x6" timber). The redwood on number one and three should weather to be more like number two. This was the first time I'd tried to build stands and there were plenty of hard lessons learned. Like make sure you have drill bits at least 10" long.
