Trunk split detail

Make a large lower branch by splitting the trunk. secured the base of the trunk with wire to avoid over splitting, raffia'ed the new branch and bent it down with a twist, parallel with the ground

That's very sparse. I'm skeptical that it will survive. Plus they don't backbud. I'm not sure what I would have done with the material myself though.
