I received this tiger bark ficus as a gift and while I’m not a huge fan of the S shape design and I know there’s not a whole lot I can do to correct it. I thought I’d post here and see if anyone had suggestions on a direction to take it.

It has three branches growing on the same side and directly above one another and I’m not entirely sure how to correct this.

Don't know how you been avoiding capture!

Welcome to Crazy!

Also known as the rapture.

It has three branches growing on the same side and directly above one another and I’m not entirely sure how to correct this.

If you know this is a problem, you already know how to correct it!

Looking at your third picture above, I'd probably air later it at that straight middle section and work the top and bottom as independent trees.

Chop back to 1 inch stubs and go from there. It's those lanky branches hanging out there that need to be excised....

Then grown out...

Hopefully some growth in-between to give you cover along the bare spaces...

Etc.
