Ed,

Neli - a tease -

To do something correctly / thoroughly the first time, would require the experience of having done it before - hee hee
What would you use as a yardstick?
Have a great day
Anthony
You "knotty"boy! You dont have to have experience if you know how to listen to the ones with experience and follow, till you have experience.

Darlene,

some trees have to have access to a large amount of soil to really thicken the trunk.
Here is an example, of a Fukien tea, branch was grown to 8' and nothing happened to the trunk. This is also the smallest leaf type of the Fukien teas.

You should talk to Sam [ Hawaii - Bougainvilleas.]
Good Day
Anthony

looks like only 21" to me. Does that translate to 8' in the Caribbean?

I think it is male thing ;) LOL...you know those who boast about the length of their baseball bats?

Kidding aside, this could be a pic taken earlier on. :)

Nathan,

here is an ironwood. The length was used to heal wounds, but this tree was unaffected trunk size wise.
I don't have a image of the Fukien tea with the full length.
Good Day
