Torrential Down Pour Pounding Surface Soils

Heavy rains here last night. We need them so that is good. Will have to re-mulch some garden beds.

Before I got to my plants the rains battered the surface soils a little bit and loosened some of media. No real high end plants so it is not a huge concern other than a little pumice and lava bounced out of the pots.

What do you think of any potential damage? Maybe some surface roots banged up, that’s about it.....maybe?

I doubt you have any damage. Just refill the pot. Certainly no worse than what happens during a repot.
