Hi,
I'm super sorry to post again. But I have news.
Just now, my neighbor just dropped off her ill bonsai and ask me to simply save it.
Well, all I know its an indoor tree.
Here is pictures. Its still alive, and I'll try to save it. If it dies, its only $12.

I have no ideal of the species . but the roots remind me of root girdling .I am Probably wrong wait for better answer. look up root girdling it's a good thing to know.

repotted it, its soil was washed out and then the roots were hard pruned.
Lets see what happens.

Best guess from what I can see of the leaves and trunk structure, willow leaf ficus. If you cut a branch (or even a leaf), does it bleed thick white sap?

Looks pretty unhealthy, you might have a mite infestation. How were the roots, were there actively growing white root tips?

oh, the roots were all extremely thick roots. Barely any fine feeder roots. I just hard pruned the roots and left a batch of fine roots then washed out all the soil and put it back into a akadama;potting soil medium.
Thanks,
Porter
