Hello everyone!

I have found a tree in my garden and I was wondering which specie is it. To me it looks like a juniper or a cypress, what do you think?

thank you beforehand!

Juniper don't usually have flat foliage pads. Chamaecyparis and Thuja both have flat foliage pads. Not sure what is popular in Spanish gardens but I'm guessing Chamaecyparis is much more likely. there are a few species and most of those have numbers of garden cultivars with many different foliage colors, sizes and shapes, often very different from the original species so can be hard to Id accurately.

Very common yes, our fellows the Dutch produce them by the millions in their greenhouses and they are one of the most common and cheap plants along with the Cupressus macrocarpa "Goldcrest"
