Hi everyone,

I have gotten a new tree but am finding it difficult to identify. It has cinnamon colored bark. The bark's not smooth. Then there is the curly leaf stems... I thought it might be a Jaboticaba, which seems unlikely but the bark and leaves look similar from my research. It could also be a Ficus Benjamina. I could be way off though since bonsai, and trees, is a new hobby for me.

Thank you.

Yes, normal. Some cultivars have leaves more curly than others.
