tree on a cliff

work in progress. root over rock. replicating a tree on a cliff. need branch thickness and a more "battered" appearance in consonance with its environment.

Sam, I can see this one, and I like what I see. The rock is fabulous. It just needs time to make the other elements fall into place. How did you place the tree? Is there a pocket in the rock?

good imagination you guys! thanks. the tree is planted in the ladies lap. the roots go down the back into the soil.

I like the composition, yet I can not see a tree on a cliff. I notice the person setting, although my first impression was a kangaroo holding a tree in its pouch, until I read the person setting after looking at the picture. I can see a tree at the bottom of a cliff, the top above it makes it look that way.
