exactly at the spot where you now draw the graft I see the old attachment of a leaf. The moment you give this a strong trim assuming it is healthy, you should see buds there.

9?
Trident maple does not bend too well. I doubt that apex will bend down and through the trunk as drawn. Maybe one of the smaller branches will be flexible enough. The lowest branch may be long enough to bend down and go through. You will still have the first part of it to keep as a branch after the graft is finished.
I have had some trouble with thread grafts where the grafted branch was lower than the base of the branch. sap does not seem to flow downhill very strong.
i would also try pruning the top hard before resorting to grafting.

Also agree with @just.wing.it . Those roots are thick but far from good nebari for a maple.

Also clear when tridents have their branches pulled down in styling. All other branches take over, and even buds near the base of such branches develop much stronger than the tip of the branch. I think apical dominance bends to gravitational dominance, if such a thing exists.

That nebari definitely has character.
And I would leave the first branch where it is, and develop the tree up from there.

I am not experienced in tridents, so i ll think again bending top of it🧐

You may as well do it. It's not like it's going to get worse for your effort.

Then drill some roots on that Beeeeoch.

Is it growing on a balcony? If so, this is challenging. Air movement and good sunlight are important to good growth.

Yes, but its a open balcony, it takes air movement a lot. Sunlight is partially, under a huge pine tree 🧐

Could be sunlight, nutrition, water, or fungal. The wrinkled/distorted leaves make me think fungal.
