Trident leaf problem?

i have a couple of trident maple growing in growboxes and one has developed light green to yellowing spots with this browning of the leaves that doesnt look like leaf burn.Can anyone help?

Suckers of some kind :D It looks like insects. Check underneath the leaves but the are probably long gone.

Aphids or scale or mealy bugs, or . . . In zone 6 they're probably gone. No permanent damage was done, and you're going to lose the leaves shortly anyway, so I wouldn't fret. As long as you have the tree in a grow box, this cosmetic damage to the leaves in inconsequential, anyway.

Thanks for posting this thread/asking your question. I have a similar situation going on with trident saplings in a grow box. Pretty sure my question got answered as well.
