A boringly straight-trunked field grown thing I got from Jason at Oregon Bonsai - had great nebari, but the frequent T-chop top seen on many trees there from a time when inexperienced help were hired.

To impose some interest, i slanted it, carved it out, developed the nebari more, and worked on the branches over the past three years. Here ot is today, just now transplanted into a nice Tokoname I got at the GSBF Conventio in Pasadena last fall. The branching on the right knob still needs to be cleaned up.

That's going to work into a great little tree as the branches fill in. Good job.

Changing the potting angle on it worked very well Will, should turn out to be a nice tree.
