Hello everyone from South Korea. Just registered and first time posting here.

I have lived in CA for a few years before and been into bonsai for about three months now.

The bonsai in the pictures is a trident maple, which is my first bonsai.

I'm looking forward to share and talk about bonsai related things here.

Watch so the moss lets water and air in (the surface may need some non-moss holes) and that it doesn’t begin to take over the trunk. I would tend to clean it off the lower trunk and root extensions.

Great first tree.
Either the leaves are very big or the tree is quite small - no other scale to judge the actual size.

You need to be aware that caring for really small bonsai is not easy and larger trees in smaller pots makes it even harder. I would definitely seek some local advice on watering and care to give this tree a chance of surviving summer.
