Five days into this years Hurricane Season, I
woke up to Tropical Storm Andrea this morning, quite a
few tornadoes have already touched down in our area...
No heavy winds as of yet, but man we are getting hit
very hard with tons of Rain !!! And when someone from
Florida tells you it is raining alot... it is raining ALOT !!! :)

So heads up to you folks all along the eastern US Coast...
I know alot of you have already been getting plenty of rain
prior to this... I think with this storm, there is going to be
severe Flooding all up and down the East Coast...
Not to mention very bad drivers out in the rain...
so be careful everyone...
:)

Here's NOAA's prediction..

Batten down the hatches!

With the spring as weird as it was...I am afraid what the rainy season has in store for your guys by the coast. TX, OK, MO and other places have been hit by nasty tornadoes already. Weather in general seems to be out of whack...man have angered mother nature?

It is out of whack, severe storms aren't happening as much as they used too, does that mean climate change is not all they are saying?????

I've heard the opposite from our local weather people. Because of climate change, we have been getting more severe storms more frequently not less. Certainly seems like we had more last year (Hurricane names got to 'S' which doesn't happen that much) and the last 2 years saw the worst 2 hurricanes ever recorded. Also, the tornados have been more frequent in the last few years and more severe than most (2 category 5 tornados already this year).

Bill, rather than spending time trying to get in some sort of ridiculous argument
perhaps you would be better off either preparing for this, since it is coming
your way... Or better yet... try posting some pics of your trees ??? Seeing
that no one here has seen any in a long, long, long, long, long, long time ???

Anyways...........

We had quite few tornadoes touch down with some damage.
Some power outages, from downed power lines, and alot of
rain as previously mentioned... Here in Florida though the water
recedes almost as fast as it puddles up. We probably got about
6-7 inches of rain in the last couple of hours... Sun's coming
out now and it's moving on.
